Maxidon recently debuted its Anterior Translucency MultiLayer zirconia blanks, a blockbuster in dentistry.  Dentists enjoy the AT zirconia material for its convincing translucency and brilliant aesthetic effect.  Prior to the development of this anterior teeth zirconia, glass ceramic (or E-MAX) and PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate wax) were used in restorations for anterior teeth.  AT multilayer zirconia, rated to 600 MPa strength, is a perfect alternative that provides more strength, higher toughness, and comparable aesthetics to E-Max while doing so at a fraction of the cost.
 
The 16 preshaded variations available (in all standard shades) save dental labs time and provide consistent results, removing the need to stain the restoration before glazing.  The multiple layers of the AT-ML zircoia discs shift from a lighter color at the incisal ridge to a darker color near the cervical edge of the crown or bridge.
 
In anterior restorations, translucency matters most.  Although we offer several other variants of zirconia that have higher strength ratings, the additional strength is not necessary for practical use of anterior restorations.  Our AT multilayer zirconia amazes you with its translucency and true-to-nature transition.  Additionally, its high fluorescent effect and opalescence make true-to-nature restorations a reality.
