6LAY-Adamas multilayer is our most popular, most well rounded dental zirconia blank and gives the closest approximation of the natural gradient of color.  Increasingly more dental labs are recognizing the advantage of using our pre-shaded multilayer zirconia over unshaded zirconia and over other materials for restoration.
 
Pre-shaded layers save time in finishing and staining, and for most labs the marginal increase in price over all-white discs is worthwhile to save the time and labor necessary to stain an unshaded disc.  Zirconia is available in the 16 pre-shaded variants used as industry standard shades, but the A1 tooth shade and the B1 tooth shade are most commonly used.
 
Most multilayer zirconia blanks are made by layering 4 or 5 layers of zirconia powder in a gradient from the darker, more opaque shade to the lighter, more translucent material.  Our 6LAY-Adamas is named as such because we manufacture these zirconia discs with 6 layers of Tosoh material to provide an even more natural and aesthetic look to restorations.
 
6LAY-Adamas is capable of milling out a full arch and despite its beautiful appearance that is fit for anterior restorations, the material is more than strong enough to use for posterior restorations and is capable of milling out full arch cases.  Adamas zirconia has high flexture strength, wear resistence, and hardness as well as visual appeal, making it a natural choice for the discerning dentist or lab.

Translucency transitions from 43% in the cervical layer to 57% in the incisal layer.  The gradual, consistent change helps achieve life-like tooth appearance with the transparency of natural tooth enamel as well as the opacity of the cervical base.
